From the very first moments of my new life in Christ, God planted in me a deep thirst for His Scripture as well as positive, nurturing relationships with His people. From first-hand experience, I am convinced that spiritual growth comes by knowing and living the truth of Scripture within the Family of God, His church. Establishing a spiritually enriching environment here at Hillside Evangelical Free Church is my focus for our adults of all ages and stages.
Graduating from Sacramento State University in Psychology, I immediately jumped into the spiritually vibrant arena of Talbot Seminary from which I earned the Master of Divinity degree. Since 1971, I have served various churches mostly throughout California. I began my ministry here at Hillside in February, 1996.
In 1968 I married my best friend, Sandy, and in those brief years we have parented our daughter and son. What I especially enjoy these days? Our six incredible grandchildren, landscaping, traveling, candlelight dinners with my family, good coffee, and a well-stocked library.
