Paul Brown Associate Pastor of Worship

I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t involved in music. It’s been a big part of my life. But it wasn’t until I became a follower of Jesus that I experienced the joy of making music for the living God! Since I married Karen (a great pianist!) in 1985 we’ve been serving the Lord through music together.

The Bible says that God seeks true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). My desire is that Hillside Church would be filled with true worshippers joyfully lifting our voices, and our lives, in praise to God.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University at Northridge, and then went on to receive a Master of Divinity from Talbot Seminary in La Mirada, California. I’ve served in ministry here at Hillside since 1989. Karen and I have two wonderful daughters, Rachelle and Kristina.
