Sarah, Jesse, Gabriella and I have not only been privileged to be called to vocational ministry, but, also the great blessing and responsibility to be called here to Hillside. This was the first church that I came to when I repented of my sins and accepted Christ's gift of salvation in 1989. Sarah began attending Hillside with her family when she was in junior high. So, for us, we are home. We consider it a privilege to minister with such an awesome staff and congregation.
I have been fortunate enough to receive 10 years practical ministry training and experience while earning my Master's of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Bible and Theology from San Jose Christian College. Sarah has a Bachelor in Business from Point Loma Nazarene University, while Jesse is learning tons in his Spanish Immersion Elementary School and Gabriella is in preschool.
We are excited that God is continually transforming us, individually and corporately, into fully devoted Disciples of Christ. We pray that Hillside would continue to be a thriving discipleship community for God and the advancement of His kingdom!
I think I stole this idea from someone I read, but I've personalized it enough to be my own...so you can quote me on it...

This is the perspective that I will continually minister from and towards.
