Precept In-depth Bible Study

Discover Truth for yourself.
Go deeper in God's Word as you gain the skills of accurate observation,                     interpretation, and application.
Be transformed through the five hours of homework per week.

The goal of Precept is to equip and encourage women to a live as exemplary followers of Jesus Christ. Women are challenged to study the Bible inductively, view the world Biblically, make disciples intentionally and serve the church faithfully. Precept inductive Bible study is an in depth, weekly class that uses the Bible as the primary source of study. We discuss our 5 hours of homework and then watch an hour lecture by Kay or David Arthur. Throughout the study you will learn to develop your observation, interpretation and application skills. 

Wednesdays, starting September 15, 2010
9:00-11:30 AM, Room 220, no childcare

This year our study will include three parts. 
Jeremiah Part 1- You've Forsaken Me: Repent and Return. This will be a ten week course, ending on November 27. 
Jeremiah Part 2- When God's Judgement Finally Comes. This will be a nine course starting on December 1, with a three week break for Christmas. 
1 Thessalonians- Be Blameless at His Coming. This will be a twelve week course starting on March 2 and ending on May 25.
