I am excited to be working with the staff at Hillside! I recently re-located to the San Jose area from the north peninsula where I was a long-time member of a small, Bible-believing church. I served over the years as preschool Sunday School teacher, choir member and leader, pianist, and worship team member. I loved especially being a part of the choir and worship team where I could sing praises to God.
I have worked as a full-time administrative assistant in many capacities over the years. After God blessed me with my new husband, Steve, I began prayerfully considering the possibility of switching to a part-time job that would allow me to be involved in ministry or volunteer work.
Steve and I have attended Hillside for almost a year and enjoy being a part of the assembly. One Sunday the church bulletin contained an ad for a part-time administrative person for the office! What an answer to prayer! God is so good. I now work as administrative assistant to Pastor Paul and Pastor Scott. It is a joy being among fellow believers and to be working toward the same goal – enabling ourselves and each other to do God’s work!
I am looking forward to getting more involved in the ministries and activities at Hillside (especially singing in choir!)…and getting to know everyone. I am so thankful that God has allowed me to be a part of the Hillside family.
