I was raised in a Christian home as my dad was a youth pastor here in the Bay Area. I have lived here all my life. I remember when San Jose was all orchards!

Pete and I met in Yosemite and got married 11 months later, in 1981. We started going to Hillside in 1987 and I came on staff in 1991. I started out as a receptionist, then worked in children’s, JH/HS/ college admin. and currently work as the Assistant to the Director at the Farm Drive Neighborhood Center.

We have 2 grown wonderful kids; Jon (24) and Jessica (22) and just recently, we became official empty nesters. God was calling us to a new adventure now that the kids are gone so we moved to the Farm Drive neighborhood in July. We live in the apt. above the Neighborhood Center and we love being near all the kids. (all 50+ of them!)

What do I like to do? Anything outdoors! I love the beach, traveling, whether it be vacation or a mission trip, reading, going to the movies and drinking a good cup of coffee.
