It is great to have the opportunity to serve the Lord here at Hillside Church in the position of Facility and Finance Assistant! My goal is to help to maintain Hillside Church as an attractive and safe place for our people to worship and work in the ministry areas to which they have been called. My wife Barbara and I have been married for 42 years and have 3 grown children, 4 granddaughters, and 6 grandsons.
I was born and raised in a Christian family in upstate New York. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old at an evangelistic service led by Jack Wyrtzen. After high school, I started college at Union College in Schenectady, NY, but when my dad accepted an IBM transfer to San Jose, I moved with the family and completed my electrical engineering degree at Stanford.
Following graduation, I went to work for IBM where I continued until my retirement in 2002. Since that time, I have done some substitute teaching, and have worked for about three years as the office manager for a small general contractor.
