After several years of ministry in Texas, Roberto was called to San Jose in 2017 to lead Hillside’s Spanish ministry, Iglesia Libre en Cristo. He earned a B.A. in Theology from Central American Theological Seminary (CATS) in 1999 and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies (M.A.C.S.) from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) in 2024. He has served as a pastor for 27 years in Guatemala and the United States. Roberto and his wife, Karla, have two sons, Carlos and Josue.
