BAPTISM

At the end of the book of Matthew, in chapter 28 verses 19-20, Jesus spoke what is commonly called “The Great Commission.” In His commission, He charged His disciples with taking the Gospel message to all the world in order to make more disciples. In doing this He instructed them to baptize these new disciples. If Jesus considered baptism so important that He included it in His last instructions to His disciples, we too should consider it very important.

While baptism does not forgive sins or save a person, it is an important step of obedience in our walk with Christ. If you have not been baptized, consider joining our Baptism Class to learn what it is, when you should do it, what is required, and more.

Our next baptism class is on May 5, 2024 during the 11 AM service hour in Room 220.
The Baptism service will be on May 19, at 5 PM.

This class is required to be baptized at Hillside. You may print and fill out an application prior to class, or complete one provided to you in class.
