SAFETY QUESTIONS

  • Our adult female volunteers are all capable of handling diaper changes. However, if you would feel more comfortable handling diaper changes yourself, that is completely fine. Simply let the volunteers in the classroom know and your will be notified via text.

  • The safety of your kids and of our volunteers is of the utmost importance. Bathroom procedures vary by classroom, but all are age-appropriate and ensure everything is above reproach. Our volunteers are trained to never be alone in the restroom with children and to avoid situations that could call their integrity into question.

If you have questions about a specific classroom’s policies or would like a general overview of all of our policies, please feel free to reach out to our Children’s Director.

  • All adult volunteers must be members in good standing at Hillside Church, have completed our application, and submitted a comprehensive background check.
