HillsideKids is always bursting with fun and alive with the Word of God! Here is just a glimpse into some of the main events that we host throughout the year so you can be excited for what is to come!
VBS IN ONE NIGHT
Each year we host a VBS In Night Event! The whole church gets decked out for this one night of Bible fun! Each year we invite the whole family to come experience the truth and joy of scripture through interactive games, crafts, skits, and a devotional.
Worship Night
Join us at HillsideKids for a Kids Worship Night on Friday, June 12 @ 5 PM! We'll explore the many ways we can worship our God together as a family. Expect a fun-filled night with dinner provided, the whole family is welcome!!
PARK DAYS
Throughout June and July, we host six park days that all families are invited to join! We provide a snack, story time, and meeting place/time for families to connect outside of Sunday mornings!
ANNUAL VOLUNTEER MEETINGS
Each year, we host a Volunteer Training for all those who serve in HillsideKids. These trainings include overviews on safety procedures, dealing with behavioral issues, classroom-specific equipping, and more. We also host a yearly Volunteer Brunch to thank our hardworking volunteers.
PROMOTION SUNDAY
Promotion Sunday is always a big celebration! At the beginning of each summer, we celebrate our older kids moving up to their new classrooms! We decorate the rooms, have a fun snack, and do our best to make each student feel welcomed into their new environment!
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Each year Hillside Church hosts a spectacular Christmas Concert and each year our kids have the privalege of being able to participate! We practice our songs for a couple of weeks leading up to the concert and then get to hear our wonderful kids sing their hearts out in praise and adoration of the arrival of our savior.
